Purchase Ledger Clerk

This is a broad based, interesting and developing role which is part of a small accounts and administration team assisting with purchase ledger duties of the business and the production of the monthly management accounts.

General duties will include filing, daily processing of purchase invoices & staff expenses, reconciling supplier and credit card statements plus other duties commensurate with the role.

Requirements: 

  • Previous or recent experience in an administration role 
  • Good communication skills and good team player
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexibility with an enthusiastic approach to your work
  • A "can do" attitude is essential!
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • A full clean driving licence 

 

Qualifications & grades:

  • GCSE English grade C or above
  • GCSE Maths grade C or above

 

Other useful skills but not required:

  • Working towards or AAT qualified
  • Experience of working with Sage

 

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary range £16,000 - £20,000
