After completing A-levels in English, French and Economics at Sir John Leman High School in Beccles, Jeremy joined a management training scheme with one of the UK’s leading retail businesses before starting Computer Service Centre with Christopher Cooper in 1997. Since then, Jeremy has overseen the management of the business and has been responsible for establishing customer service standards, staff training and development, as well as the company’s finances. Jeremy also co-ordinated the physical relocation of the business from Norwich city centre to Meridian Business Park in April 2006.
Following a BTEC III Electronic Engineering course at Great Yarmouth College of Further Education, Chris worked in the off-shore industry as a hydrogen sulphide technician, which included installing gas detection equipment on drilling platforms. Chris was subsequently recruited to repair navigational and fire equipment for an international off-shore drilling company before establishing Computer Service Centre with Jeremy Clarke in 1997. Chris has been responsible for building strong customer relationships and all technical aspects of the business, including the construction of our own Data Centre and private Wide Area Network.
After completing A levels in Derbyshire Glyn opted for an accountancy qualification via working in industry and started his career at Neepsend Plc in 1977. Subsequent career steps into service industries saw Glyn appointed as Finance Director in a leading 24/7/365 distress purchase service industry, one that he worked within for 32 years eventually heading and running the market leading operator where Customer Service was, and remains, his passion, delivered through exceptional teams of equally passionate people.
Head of Operations
Ryan joined our Software department in 2012, having previously studied at City College Norwich and achieving a first class degree in Business Computing at the University of East Anglia. Ryan’s responsibilities include managing the team to deliver .NET development and building complex web applications to suit the requirements of our clients. With experience in customer-facing roles in the retail sector, Ryan brings with him an enthusiasm for ensuring that our customers are happy with the solution we deliver and prides himself on timely project delivery. In his free time, Ryan enjoys football, keeping fit and is a keen supporter of Liverpool FC.
Head of Technical
Russell grew up in Thetford and attended West Suffolk College where he attained a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Science. Prior to working for Computer Service Centre, Russell worked for a local multimedia company in their internal IT support department, then in a similar role for a domestic repair services company. Russell joined Computer Service Centre as a Project Engineer and further to gaining his A+ and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator certification, Russell was appointed Installations Department Manager. Russell's role consists of managing the Installations team, which includes overseeing network and server installations and he has recently achieved Prince 2 Practitioner status.
Head of Service Delivery
Daniel moved to Norfolk from Yorkshire very early in his life. Daniel started his working career within an Oil Distribution company learning the importance and need for great customer service. A few career changes later and Daniel joined the ever changing world of IT. After a 4 year employment within the IT sector Daniel then made the move to Computer Service Centre. The 4 years taught Daniel a huge amount and re-affirmed his learning within the customer service sector and also increased his understanding of the technical world of IT. In Daniel’s spare time he is most happy spending his time on a river bank fishing or watching his beloved Leeds United.
Having grown up in Norwich and after completing his A-levels at City Academy Norwich, Jason joined a well-known accountancy firm in July 2010 as a Junior Accountant. During four and a half years working in the accountancy profession, Jason worked with a variety of businesses and organisations, becoming proficient in Sage accounts, as well as achieving his accreditation as a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 2012. Jason joined Computer Service Centre in March 2015 as Accounts Administrator and is responsible for daily accounting routines and preparation of monthly management accounts. Outside work, Jason enjoys training in the gym and spending the rest of his free time socialising with friends.
Rachel has built a career in account management with a focus on always delivering excellent customer service. Whilst previously working at Brandbank, Rachel progressed through various commercial roles and managed retail clients such as Sainsbury's and Nisa. Outside of work and having recently just got back into the sport, Rachel can be found playing hockey for her local club. She also likes to play badminton and enjoys going to comedy shows.
Having attended Sir John Leman High School in Beccles and after a brief spell working for the family firm, Michael began working at Computer Service Centre in 2001 as a Sales Administration Assistant. In 2004 Michael was promoted to Administration Co-ordinator with his main responsibilities including stock control, credit control, invoicing, Microsoft Licensing and maintaining our Microsoft Partner Program. Michael is a St John First Aider and currently Administration Department Manager.
Having grown up in Cambridge, shortly after completing his A-Levels Sam pursued a career at John Lewis. Throughout his 6 years as a John Lewis Partner, Sam was based in various different roles and departments. After relocating to Norfolk in February 2017 Sam joined us as our new Administration Assistant. Most recently working in an Administration based role he has brought multiple key skills to the team, as well as a high level customer service experience. Outside work, Sam is a semi-professional singer, who regularly performs at various different events for clubs, weddings, parties etc. In his spare time Sam enjoys spending time with his family, going to watch his beloved football team Tottenham Hotspurs, watching superhero shows/movies, playing snooker and darts.
1st Line Support Team Leader
Ben attended Sir John Leman High School in Beccles, where he completed an ICT & Business Studies A-level before attending City College Norwich where he completed his Advanced Diploma in IT Practitioner Level 3 course in 2009. Ben joined Computer Service Centre as an apprentice in our Support Department in September 2009. After completing the apprenticeship Ben joined the Support Department before moving into the Installation Department. In December 2014 Ben moved back to the Support Department and became the 1st Line Team Leader. Outside work, Ben enjoys spending time with his young family and is a member of Gillingham Cricket Club as well as recently taking up snowboarding.
2nd Line Support Team Leader
Scott left Norfolk in 1999 and has been working up and down the country in various IT positions. Scott was In his previous role for 8 years in London, working for one of the largest ISP’s in the country. Scott has a young family, is a big music lover and is currently rejuvenating his love of vinyl and building his collection. He is also a keen photographer and camper, attending a number of festivals.
3rd Line Support Engineer
Daniel completed his Level 5 BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computing and has since completed his CCNA1, CompTia A+ and N+. Daniel previously worked at a large car manufacturer in Norfolk and is used to working with complex IT systems, including those of the car manufacturer's Formula 1 team. Since working at Computer Service Centre Daniel has progressed into the 2nd line support team.
2nd Line Support Engineer
Laszlo followed his passion for IT by joining our team as a Support Technician in 2014. Bringing with him a wealth of experience in customer service in the hospitality and insurance sectors, and having held management roles in a large restaurant chain, Laszlo is very focused on delivering client satisfaction. His enthusiasm for resolving client issues is backed up with his Comptia A+, N+ and Microsoft certifications. Originally from Hungary, Laszlo has lived in Norwich for 11 years before moving back to his home country and enjoys keeping active at the gym when he is not spending time with his young family.
2nd Line Support Technician
Mark brings another dynamic to the team, bringing experience from his previous role in EPOS support. Outside of work, he spends the majority of time with his family. He has two young children which he likes to make the most of in his spare time. Mark’s other hobbies include football, motorsport and a love of music.
Francis moved to Norfolk in 2000, having lived in Zimbabwe and Botswana for much of his life. Before emigrating, Francis achieved a BA degree and Graduate Certificate in Education. Francis has since achieved his CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCSA:2003, CCNA and an MSc Network Security qualification. Francis has worked in IT for over 10 years at several local schools and colleges and gained a comprehensive knowledge in all things IT. Outside of work, Francis is a keen cyclist and is a member of the Hethersett Velo club.
Mark joined the Support team at Computer Service Centre in December 2012 as a Support Technician. Mark’s knowledge has been gained over 5 years working within the IT sector whilst also having completed qualifications including a GNVQ in IT, BTEC National Diploma in ICT, MCP, MCDST, CompTia A+ and CompTia Network+. In his spare time Mark enjoys badminton, computer gaming and loves Formula 1 racing.
2nd Line Support Engineer Jason has followed his passion for IT by joining our support team and after working for over a year in our 1st line team he has progressed in to our 2nd line team. Jason brings a wealth of customer services experience having worked at a national financial provider for eight years proir to joing Computer Service Centre. Jason has completed his CompTIA A+ & N+ certifications and has recently completed his Microsoft Server 2016 certifications making him a Microsoft Certified Professional & Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate. Jason loves most sports, in his spare time he enjoys karting, snowboarding and spending time with family & friends.
1st Line Support Technician
Shannon joined Computer Service Centre after completing her BTEC level 2 Diploma in IT and Telecoms via an apprenticeship. Previous to Shannon’s apprenticeship, she completed AS levels in Spanish, Psychology and Photography. Shannon still has a keen interest in photography and Spanish, spending her spare time taking and editing photos or brushing up on her Spanish. Shannon also likes spending her spare time gaming, attending comic cons and socialising with friends.
Hannah joined Computer Service Centre in October 2016 as a Support Apprentice, completing her apprenticeship and obtaining her A+ certification in just over a year. She then became a 1st Line Technician and obtained her Network+, before joining 2nd Line in October 2019. Before this Hannah worked as a Prison Officer at HMP Wayland, and in 2015 she left this role to do some travelling in New Zealand and Asia. In her spare time Hannah enjoys camping, gaming and riding her motorcycle.
Karl studied at the Lowestoft Sixth Form College and achieved the highest grade within the BTEC ICT course. Alongside the course Karl volunteered at the Lowestoft Local Links, in which his position was to manage the communication and timetables between the students and managers. Karl’s hobbies are gaming, socialising with friends and improving his technological skills, such as building and managing a homelab server.
Brian studied at Paston College and achieved A-levels in maths, physics, chemistry and accounting. After this he spent five years in a Customer Service team before moving into an IT support role. He worked in this role for four and a half years before joining CSC in July 2017. Brian is currently studying towards CompTIA A+ and Network+ qualifications. Outside of work Brian enjoys running, gaming and socialising with friends.
Harry has recently joined Computer Service Centre as a Support Technician. He brings with him IT and Customer Service experience from a variety of sectors, most recently within healthcare. Harry enjoys learning new technologies and skills, and is looking forward to the variety of systems supported. He is currently working towards his CompTIA A+ and Network+ qualifications. Outside of work Harry has a van that he is converting into a camper, and has a home-lab setup he uses to experiment with new technologies. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, and running when he can.
Michael has recently joined Computer Service Centre as a Support Technician, after spending 2 years as a Support Technician in the legal industry. He has completed an ITQ as part of an apprenticeship, and is now working towards attaining CompTIA A+ and N+ qualifications. Outside of work, Michael enjoys gaming, building computer systems, and watching sci-fi shows, as well as having a keen interest in rock climbing and swimming.
Dominic studied at Wymondham Sixth Form, achieving A-levels in maths, further maths, and physics. After several years of experience in a customer service and IT role, he has recently joined Computer Service Centre as a Support Apprentice. Outside of work, he is a RYA qualified sailor and has a keen interest in hiking, traveling, and gaming.
Steven has joined the company with extensive experience in customer service. IT has been a passion of his since a very young age and he has a vast array of self-taught knowledge alongside an AVCE completed at City College. He is currently studying for his A+ and N+ certifications. Outside of work he is a keen football fan and enjoys attending matches while also watching on TV. Steven’s other hobbies include gaming, a love of music, walking the dog and spending time with his family.
Nathan brings to the team 9 years’ experience as a Senior Telecoms and Networking Engineer.
With this he brings wide-ranging customer service experience and a vast knowledge of various phone systems.
Nathan also brings years of experience in cable networks from planning to installing cat 3, 5 and 6 cable networks.
Nathan is currently studying towards his Comptia A+ and N+ Qualifications.
Outside of work Nathan enjoys playing golf, visiting national trust sites and spending time with family and friends.”
Laurence joined CSC after leaving the internal IT team of a leading UK Architecture practice where his journey in IT started. He brings with him great customer services skills from his time at Aviva and has a keen interest for helping people. In his free time Laurence likes to keep active in the gym, socialise with friends and play computer games. He is also a big fan of the outdoors and loves dogs of which he has two, Dudley and Archie.
Declan started his career in IT with an apprenticeship with East Suffolk Council in Lowestoft, through which he earned experience, certifications and finished his apprenticeship level 3. As well as East Suffolk Council, Declan has been involved in IT through voluntary work at a local computer shop and tinkering with his home setup. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, his main hobbies are going to the gym and gaming.
Zach studied at City College Norwich, completing a two year Diploma in IT obtaining a Double Distinction Merit. Alongside this he had a part time job at a local computer sales company refurbishing laptops and desktops ready for them to be resold, and has recently joined Computer Service Centre as an IT Support Apprentice. Outside of work, he likes fishing, riding his quad bike and working on cars.
Alex started his career as a junior software developer and has recently joined Computer Service Centre in the support team as a 1st line engineer. He has spent over 6 years in the Gas and LPG industry developing strong sales and customer service skills. More recently Alex has gone back to his love of IT.
In his spare time, he is a Bassist for a local rock covers band. He also enjoys music, gaming and long dog walks with his partner.
Senior Cloud Developer
Toby joined us in December 2013 as a Software Developer responsible for the maintenance and continued development of existing solutions. Although a software development enthusiast for many years, Toby focused his education on his other passion - music and composition - and is a talented musician holding both Bachelors and Masters degrees in this field. Since making the decision to forge a career in IT, Toby has worked in a range of roles that encompass solutions, support and software giving him a wide understanding of the services we provide to our clients. Outside work and music Toby is a fitness enthusiast, photographer and mechanic.
Prior to joining Computer Service Centre, Richard had for over 10 years, been working for a large Norwich based factory, designing and developing custom software solutions for internal and external clients. In his personal life, Richard has a wide range of interests ranging from technology to DIY.
Chris joined the team in February 2019 as a Cloud Developer but prior to this, he spent 15 years working as a Management Accountant. His last role, at a North Norfolk Seafood Company, gradually transitioned from one based in accounting to a system management role designing, developing and implementing software aimed at helping the company run more efficiently. Outside of work, Chris is an avid supporter of Norwich City FC but his main love is spending quality time with his young family.
Originally from Northamptonshire, Arron graduated from UEA in 2011 studying Business Information Systems and has been a software developer ever since, working on a variety of both web and desktop applications in the education sector. Hobbies include playing playing guitar and bass, skiing, and is a fan of music, film and motorsport.
Sam studied at the University of East Anglia, completing a Masters degree in Biochemistry in 2015 and a PhD in Computational Chemistry in 2019, during which time he discovered his love for software development. Following this passion, Sam joined Computer Service Centre in May 2019 as a member of the Cloud Development team. Outside of work, Sam enjoys playing rugby for Norwich AXV, cycling and playing guitar.
Solutions Department Manager
David comes from a strong customer service and service management background, progressing to a management role in Aldi, and then Aviva. A fluent German speaker with a keen interest in business and technology, David is a climbing enthusiast with a strong aversion to cake.
Leon moved to Stalham in his childhood and attended Stalham High School. Before working in IT, Leon worked in the financial services sector for several market leading firms. Leon joined our Solutions team in July 2008 as an Account Manager and is responsible for ensuring our customers’ IT requirements are fulfilled. Leon’s role includes discussing IT solutions and strategy as our customers’ IT needs change and grow. Leon is a Microsoft Licensing Sales Specialist which allows him to ensure that we offer the best and most cost effective licensing model to each of our valued clients.
Key Account Manager
After completing a BA Hons Degree in business studies at the University of Plymouth, Emily has established a strong customer service career with market leading companies before joining Computer Service Centre in 2016. Following time with Amazon as an assistant buyer during her earlier career, Emily now brings with her key account management skills as a customer experience manager with Brandbank. A keen runner outside of work Emily enjoys travelling and taking in different cultures, especially the music.
Kimberley moved back to her hometown in Norfolk after spending a number of years living in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire following the completion of her Law Degree at the University of Lincoln. In 2012 Kimberley started her career in IT by working on the Helpdesk team for a Software company in Nottingham, and progressed into a Technical Account Management role. Along with Kimberley’s wealth of knowledge and experience, she also has a real passion for ensuring an excellent customer experience is received. Outside of work Kimberley particularly enjoys experiencing a broad range of food, culture and music from various festivals and events around the world.
Solutions Technical Specialist
Having grown up in Martham, Lee completed his BTEC National Diploma Business ICT at East Norfolk Sixth Form. Lee started working at Computer Service Centre in our Support department as a Support Technician in November 2005 and has since gained his A+ and Network+ certifications. Lee is currently a member of the Installations team, where his responsibilities include configuring computers, printers, servers and networks. Outside work, Lee is a climbing and cycling fanatic and also plays in a band.
Mike studied Public Services for 2 years getting his diploma at Havering College. He started his working career within Reprographics in London before moving to Suffolk from Essex in 2015. After 10 years in Reprographics, Mike decided it was time for a career change and joined the Nuclear sector as a Document Controller completing 2.5 years before moving into the Oil & Gas industry. In 2019 he made the move to Computer Service Centre, continuing as a Document Controller, working on Projects for Nesspoint.
Mike's time is dedicated to being a single dad, looking after his daughter but any spare time he does have Mike likes to go on family camping holidays and swimming.
Senior Installations Engineer
Before joining Computer Service Centre, Richard lived in Cyprus and moved back to Norwich in his late teens where he completed his A-Levels. Richard joined our Support team in August 2004 and moved to our Installations team in 2009. Richard’s primary role is to ensure all web facing services, such as web hosting as well as virtual and dedicated servers are fully secure and operational at all times. Along with other industry certifications, Richard has achieved both A+ and Network+ certifications.
Jason started work for Computer Service Centre as a member of our Support team in October 2005. With a total of twelve years’ experience in the IT industry, prior to working for Computer Service Centre, Jason worked as an IT Engineer for a large national company. Having gained his A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer 2000 and Avaya phone systems certifications. Jason is a Senior Installations Engineer in the Installations Department where he manages a team of engineers.
Originally from Hertfordshire, Andy moved to Norfolk in 1999 where he continued his education at Caister High School, before attending Great Yarmouth College where he completed his Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education in IT and an AS level in Electronics. Having gained 8 years' experience in IT support as in-house IT Support Technician for a local estate agency and then a local IT support company, Andy joined Computer Service Centre as a Support Technician in July 2011. Outside work, Andy enjoys cycling and occasional power kiting.
Having been born and bred in Norfolk, Kevin studied Electrical engineering at Great Yarmouth College. He worked for 8 years at a family-run IT business in North Norfolk and brings a wealth of customer service and IT support knowledge to the team. He has already gained MCP status, including 4 MTAs and Server Virtualization using Hyper-V. Since joining Computer Service Centre he has also completed his CompTIA A+ and N+. Outside of work he enjoys snowboarding, Formula 1 and Geocaching with his wife and dog.
Having grown up in Norfolk, Dean attended Acle High School and joined Computer Service Centre as an apprentice after successfully completing his GCSE’s. Dean has since gone onto gain his A+ & N+ CompTIA qualifications while progressing within the Support Department. Dean has recently moved to the Installations Department and is keen to develop his IT knowledge further as well as being involved in offshore projects. Outside work, Dean enjoys various actives such as hiking, gym, climbing and running as well as being an (A) License solo skydiver.
Mark is another local having grown up in Norwich, following school, he studied Electronic Servicing at Norwich City College. He has over 25 years’ IT experience, initially installing networks in local health authorities and General Practices across the UK. Later moving to an internal IT role for a global construction consultancy, where he maintained and supported the company’s IT systems as it grew from 60 to over 450 users during his 19 years’ service. Mark joined Computer Service Centre in June 2018 as an Installations Engineer and is studying towards his CompTIA A+ & Network+.
Outside work Mark enjoys spending time with his family, cycling and clay pigeon shooting.
Born in Caister-on-sea, Norfolk. At 16 Paul joined the Army as an apprentice Electronics Technician in the Royal Corps of Signals and enjoyed a globe-trotting lifestyle serving for 15 years. Upon leaving the regular Army, Paul pursued a career in the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry as a Telecomms Engineer specialising in VSAT, LOS, PABX, TVRO, CCTV, Fibre Optics, VHF & UHF radio systems installations and maintenance.
After 10 years as a field engineer, then offshore Comms Tech Rotation, Paul became a small Business IT Manager before moving towards the Security Industry and working closely with Mobile phone networks. In Paul`s spare time he has re-joined the Army as a reservist, enjoys Training & teaching Martial arts at the largest Martial Arts Dojo on the east Coast, swimming and running.
Richard moved to Norfolk in 1997 and completed his GSCEs and AS-levels at Thorpe St. Andrew School. After this he joined BT Openreach as an apprentice where he achieved Level 3 NVQ and BTEC qualifications. He worked as a Telephone Engineer for four years before joining CSC in November 2016. Richard is currently studying towards CompTIA A+ and Network+ qualifications. Outside of work Richard enjoys automotive detailing, gaming and is a keen runner.
Matt grew up in Wymondham and attended Wymondham High School. Matt started working for Computer Service Centre in November 2005 in a sales role and over the years developed into an Account Manager. Last year Matt qualified as a PRINCE2 Practitioner before embarking on his new role as a Project Manager. Currently Matt is responsible for managing a variety of projects from an Office relocation to the implementation of a Windfarm Management system. Outside of work, Matt has a young family, enjoys a round of golf and playing cricket for Great Melton First XI.
Junior Project Assistant
Jordan grew up in Ipswich, moving to Norwich in 2015 to study. He joined CSC as an Administration assistant in 2018, before moving to the Projects Department in 2019 after passing his Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner exams.
Outside of work Jordan enjoys playing the bass guitar in a band, football, and spending time with his young family; he’s older than he looks! He has remained a loyal supporter of Ipswich Town Football Club, despite their painful relegation and the years he has spent living in Norwich.
Compliance & Special Projects Manager
After attending Aylesbury Technical College, where he achieved a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Studies, Evan embarked on a career in IT. Evan now brings with him 20 years of broad range experience from within the IT sector. Evan has attained various professional and academic certifications including MCP, CCNA and more recently a BSc in computing and IT subjects. Outside of work Evan enjoys sport and socialising. As a keen trail runner he trains whenever possible though his primary concern is spending time with his young family.
Compliance & Special Projects Assistant
Adam has recently left higher education completing his ICT BTEC with a distinction star. Adam joined Computer Service Centre in September 2014 as an apprentice, aiming to complete his apprenticeship as well as the CompTIA A+ within his first year. Recently, Adam won a competition with ASUS ROG for his custom water-cooled PC. In his spare time he teaches karate to all levels and ages several evenings a week. Adam achieved his 1st dan Shotokan karate black belt at the age of 11 and 2nd dan at the age of 13. He is also a keen online gamer.
